Automotive Artist, Jordyn Berger:
Though Jordyn considers herself a multidisciplinary artist, Oil paint is the medium in which she feels is most able to capture the feeling of the various textures of a vehicle - painted steel, rubber, glass, and plastic.
Her current body of work has combined hyper-carbon-emitting vehicles with conversations around the environment. Where do vehicles belong and where do they not? How do they exist as both a means of escape from environmental disaster and a cause for climate change?
She held her first solo exhibition “The Garage” through the month of September 2023 in the Pinkard Gallery at the Maryland Institute College of Art. In addition to this, Jordyn has also exhibited her work in a large variety of group exhibitions such as “PREVIEW 15 (2024),” "BREAKOUT G2G AGAIN (2024), and “CHROMA (2024).”
